Men, women, and children, of any age, that enjoy a bath can enjoy the benefits of bath salts. While there may be exceptions for some people who may be allergic to certain types of salts, oils, scents, or coloring, there is sure to be a recipe that will fit your particular needs, tastes, preferences and personal needs. Give bath salts a try and your skin will love you for it!

We do suggest if you know you are allergic to a certain ingredient that you use a different recipe, which does not include the ingredients you are allergic. If you are prone to having yeast infections because of using bath water, or for any other reasons, you may try simply using a longer shower while enjoying bath salts. To use bath salts in the shower, simply dissolve a quarter cup of salts in a bowl. As you turn the water on for the shower, spread the salt water mixture over your body and leave the salt water soak into your skin, or your affected body areas so the minerals, nutrients, and oils can have a chance to soak into your body where you need it most.

On another note, if you are pregnant there are some situations where you should not be using long hot baths for relaxing. We suggest that you always consult with a physician for consideration about your personal situation before using hot baths, or long relaxing baths. There are some pregnant women who have premature birthing problems when using long hot baths.
