Buying Salts
Buying salts to make your own bath salts at home requires you to get to the store and purchase some of the salts, oils, scents and jars for making bath salts. Depending on how much of the bath salts you want to make right now will determine how much ingredients and materials you have to purchase right now. Bulk doesn’t mean you have to purchase a large amount of salt, just the amount that you want!

Buying Salts In Bulk
If you purchase salts in bulk (loosely) you can find a better savings than if you were to purchase salts in a prepackaged container. When you purchase bulk salts you will scoop them out of a barrel or container and put it into a baggie of some type to bring home to work with.
Buying Salts Online
You can find salts of all types online, in health food stores, in local specialty stores, and in mail order catalogs where herbs and health foods are sold. Prepackaged salts are sold in health food stores and in some pharmacies but they can be more expensive.
One pound of fine unprocessed salt could be as low as sixty-nine cents to two dollars when purchasing in bulk. Sea salt in the larger coarser form could range from three dollars to six dollars when purchasing it in bulk. When buying salts in packages the cost will be more because of the care taken to actually package the materials.
